2020 has been an interesting year. There’s been lots of change and we’ve all adapted to living and working in ways we mightn’t have previously imagined.
One of the few positive things that it has done for many of us is give us time to reflect. If there were things that maybe weren’t working for us pre-lockdown, what could we do to make sure that we emerge from this period able to put all of our enthusiasm, energy and talent into the things that really matter to us?
For us at SLG its been no different. Having been working closely with leading brands in the construction, manufacturing and home interests markets for over four decades, it’s understandable that we’d be looking at trends within these markets.
As well as looking at the markets we serve, we’ve taken what might be called some long-overdue ‘me’ time.
We have given our brand another look and rebuilt it to better reflect where we stand at this moment.
We’ve done what we feel we do best for clients. We’ve soul-searched, questioned and questioned again to really understand why we all do what we do, and what we love about it. A number of personal stories from the team came up that all led back to one thing; a desire to make a difference.
When we’re helping clients drive commercial gains by creating space for themselves against the competition. Or when supporting our colleagues bring their diverse skills together to solve problems. The thing that unites each of us at SLG is a desire to make change.
We’re still going to focus on the markets that we’ve always focused on. We’re still going to be as client-centric as we’ve ever been. Going forwards, we’re not going to be embarrassed about our desire to challenge each other and those that we work with, as we want to produce the best outcomes possible.
So, get in touch if you’re interested in learning more about our philosophy, whether you think you fit in as a member of staff, supplier or client.
If you’re looking to make your mark, then SLG is the place for you.
