Achieving world-class NPS & 97% increase in new accounts

The challenge

Siderise's commitment to technical excellence meant that its best-in-class passive fire safety systems were specified for use in some of the UK's most prestigious and iconic tall building projects. Essentially, the business had a great story, it just needed to be told properly.

The solution

In distilling the findings of a semi-structured interview process with Siderise® personnel, the SLG team uncovered learnings and anecdotes within the discovery phase of the project, where several things became clear. One was that the technical prowess of the business was undoubtedly true, but the thing that united everyone in the business was a genuine desire to use the team's collective expertise, care and diligence to help. 

SLG's creative team developed the campaign line 'BY YOUR SIDE®'; a line that resonated to such an extent that it has become the defining, central organising thought for the entire operation (and a trademark held by Siderise®).

The result

Since the launch of the BY YOUR SIDE® brand position, the brand's net promoter score, checked monthly, has risen from 17 to 67, a world class score. Along with this, new accounts opened in the period Jan 21 to Jun 21 inclusive totalled 199 new openings, a 97% increase vs the same period in 2019 (the last full year, for a fair comparison). This represents a £16.4 million increase in revenue for the period (again, based on year-on-year comparisons).
