The Challenge
As leaders in passive fire safety products, Siderise® was at a point where it would benefit from expanding further globally. It already had a strong presence in the marketplace, with a logo device and visual identity that was equally recognised. Therefore, to completely eradicate the current branding wasn’t an option – instead, more of an evolution was favoured.
With the brief in mind, a brand device set in stone, and a colour pallet destined to remain, our designers had to combine subtlety with transformation.
The Solution
The aim was to deliver modernity to the brand look and feel. This meant ‘out’ with the triple-coloured logo device and ‘in’ with a simplified, more moulded device in the ‘Siderise’ blue, black and a ‘glow’ version. The brand mark was further enhanced for Brand ownership purposes, with the logo device being split into three (slimmer) devices, each one representing the three original Siderise colours, depicted in a neon style, further stylised when applied to new gradient backgrounds.
Photography too has been streamlined whereby only images that are either project-specific or are from the country where the project originates are used. Colour grading has also been added to create ownership of style.
An updated font family and a fully comprehensive Brand Guidelines document completed the refresh, bringing together a new logo, neon device, dynamic photography, and edited colour palette to take the business into the future with confidence, clarity, and distinction.
